Music project? Art piece? Hopeless ambition?
Call it what you want, Bonfire Realm, is the name under which I choose to release my music. It started in 2010 and it is ongoing, growing in tandem with me as I experience this bizarre quantum accident called life.
It is also important to mention that my name is Theodore, and I am based in the backwards city of Thessaloniki in Greece.
So far I have released two albums, “Haven Intermediate” in 2015, and “You” in 2017 as well as an EP, “Waning 1” in 2021. Since then I’ve joined the modern times and released a bunch of singles and there is definitely more incoming. I even dabbled in singning in my mother tongue. (crazy, right?)
Stylistically, expect a rather daring take on the indie rock / indie pop formula, with blatant strummed chords, lots of ambience and a hefty dose of layered vocals.
Hit me up about anything. My favorite two topics are the philosophy behind the unchanging nature of the human experience and how the dubbed version of the first season of Digimon Adventure is completely botched.
